Privacy Policy

1. Self-Hosted Server Data & Privacy

BoltPane is designed as self-hosted software running on your own independent infrastructure. When you install BoltPane on a virtual private server (VPS) or bare-metal machine:

  • Your website files, databases, passwords, and SSL keys remain strictly on your server.
  • BoltPane does not operate centralized telemetry collectors that harvest your website visitor data.
  • We do not sell, rent, or monetize your server configurations.
  • Panel installation automatically registers its public IP, Linux version and a generated public-key fingerprint with boltpane.com. Reports include timestamps and refresh hourly. License activation links the installation to the customer assigned that key. The private signing key remains on the server. Inventory is administrator-only and grants no remote access. It does not collect hostname, panel address, files, databases, passwords or private keys. The installer documents how to disable anonymous reporting; license activation/renewal requires the same limited server metadata.

2. Website Usage Information

When you visit the official boltpane.com website, standard anonymous HTTP request headers (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be logged by our hosting CDN for security defense, DDoS mitigation, and traffic auditing.

3. Third-Party Integrations

When configuring external integrations (such as AWS S3, Cloudflare API, or Backblaze B2), your server communicates directly with the respective third-party API endpoints using the credentials you provide. Please review the privacy policies of those independent providers.
